Our goal is to help make this special time in your life more comfortable by working toward eliminating or decreasing musculoskeletal dysfunction secondary to the hormonal and mechanical changes in pregnancy.

COMMON AREAS OF DISCOMFORT:
- Low back pain

- Upper back and/or neck pain

DID YOU KNOW:
- 80% of pregnant women will at some time during their pregnancy experience back pain
- The average weight of a newborn baby is 7lb. 5oz.
- Mother’s shoe size may increase ½ size and stay that size even after delivery
- Mother’s rib cage expands out and up to make room for the growing baby

- Musculoskeletal Dysfunction
- Peripheral nerve compression or irritation (numbness or tingling)
- Respiratory insufficiency (difficulty breathing)
- Labor and delivery discomfort
- Urinary incontinence (leaking of urine or increased frequency)
- Muscle Weakness
- Diastasis Recti (separation of abdominal muscles)

- Postural and structural changes secondary to pregnancy
